33 incarcerated people test positive for COVID-19

33 incarcerated individuals at the Allegheny County Jail have tested positive for COVID-19, according to an internal email obtained by the Pittsburgh Current.

The new report brings the number of COVID-19 positive incarcerated individuals currently in the jail to 37. On Friday, the jail reported just four positive cases with 71 pending tests. Additionally, four employees also tested positive.
