Yesterday’s win over the L.A. Rams marks the Steelers 4th win in a row making them 5-4 and proving they are clear of the “September stench” as Coach Mike Tomlin said. This was a very low scoring, strong defense game and Steelers Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick even scored 6 of his own on a fumble recovery. Fitzpatrick proves to be the best pickup of the season. Watching him play reminds me of former Safety Troy Polamalu.
The Steelers only offensive score besides a field goal was a 3-yard pass from Mason Rudolph to James Washington. Pittsburgh now has a spot in the playoffs right now as a second wild card contender.
The Steelers have a very short week, playing Thursday night in Cleveland against the 3-6 Browns. The Pittsburgh Current will be there bringing you coverage of the game.
