For Penn State fans it was worth the 3-hour drive to Pittsburgh to see the Nittany Lions put up 51 points against the Pitt Panthers Sturday at Heinz Field. The 8 p.m. game was played in the pouring rain. The first half  was tight and ended with a 14-6 Penn Sate lead.

Something seemed to change in the second half as James Franklin and his Penn State team dominated Pat Narduzzi’s defense putting up an additional 37 points against the Panthers. The Panthers seemed ill-prepared and vulnerable.  Next week the Pitt Panthers face Georgia Tech in Pittsburgh for a 12:30pm kickoff scheduled for Saturday September 15th.
