Pittsburgh Current publisher/editor Charlie Deitch announced today a call for applicants to serve on two advisory boards to help the company plot a course for future growth and editorial direction.
“The information-delivery business is an ever-changing industry and one that does not operate inside a bubble,” Deitch said. “On both the business side and the editorial side, we want to hear the thoughts, opinions and observations from other people in the community.
“First, we are seeking members for a community advisory board to help guide us on editorial content and make sure that we are covering the stories and issues that matter to all communities in the Pittsburgh region. Secondly, we are looking for individuals to serve on our Advisory Board of Directors. We are a startup company that would benefit greatly from advice on strategic growth from individuals with experiences in a number of disciplines including startup/small business strategy, finance, corporate strategy, law and news media.”
The community advisory board will be chaired by Deitch. The Board of directors will be chaired by Robert Malkin, minority owner of the Pittsburgh Current. Details and application requirements for both boards can be found below.
