The Steelers 2019 home opener did not go as planned when the visiting Seattle Seahawks defeated the Pittsburgh Steelers 28-26. After an embarrassing loss against New England the previous week all of Pittsburgh hoped for a shot at redemption but with a season ending elbow injury from star quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, missed defensive plays and a lack of 3rd down conversions, the Steelers couldn’t pull it together. Backup quarterback Mason Rudolph came in late in the second quarter and nearly led the team to a last minute comeback after completing countless passes and driving the ball downfield. Mason Rudolph now has a chance to become the new Big Ben for Pittsburgh. Below are photo highlights from the game from visuals editor Jake Mysliwczyk.
