The Pittsburgh Steelers traveled to Cincinnati to face the Bengals on Monday Night Football in a game that was predicted to be a huge Pittsburgh win following back-to-back losses. However, the contest  turned into a challenge for the Steelers who struggled to even put up points, resulting in a 27-17 loss.

After a two-week slide, Monday’s game was supposed to be a bounce back for the Steelers but things didn’t go as planned. The offense struggled, not putting up a single point in the first half.

Starting the second half, there seemed to be a spark to the Steelers offense, who drove the ball quickly downfield, throwing to Diontae Johnson for a quick score. Runningback Benny Snell would then score, but it turned out to be the last one of the night.

Already securing a playoff spot, Pittsburgh could have clinched the AFC North title with a win, instead.  fell to 11-3. Unfortunately, the Steelers schedule only gets harder from in the last two weeks of the season. They face the Colts at home on Sunday December 27 before traveling to Cleveland to face the surging Browns
